Alcester moved to the 268 target with some big blows from the last pair, but Bredon fought right to the last ball, holding their heads high with a great performance by all players.
They ended up taking six wickets, which was a great positive to take from the match, and defended their wicket in difficult situations.
Alcester had not lost a game all season so were very strong opponents to come up against in this 2017 Cotswold Hills League shield final.
