Bredon Cricket Club members are being offered a chance to learn how to save a life.
There will be a defibrillator training session in the clubhouse on Tuesday, October 15, from 7pm to 9pm.
A defibrillator is a device that gives a high-energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest.
This shock is called defibrillation, and it is an essential part in trying to save the life of someone who is in cardiac arrest.
The training session has been organised by Bredon parish councillor Kevin Falvey, who is also chairman of the village’s rugby club.
The other sessions are at Bredon’s Norton village hall on Tuesday, November 12, from 6.30pm to 8pm and at the Cross Keys, Bredon’s Hardwick, on Wednesday, November 13, from 7pm to 9pm.
Call Kevin on 07778 554324 if you are interested in attending.
