It has been a good season so far for Bredon Cricket Club, and we have plans to round it off in style.

On Saturday, September 16, there will be a senior players’ award night in the clubhouse.

The bar will be open and there will be a curry buffet.

The evening, which starts after the day’s match finishes, is a chance to recognise and celebrate both individual and team successes.

Then, on Sunday, September 24, we are having a family end-of-season fun day with barbecue, entertainment and activities for children.

Again, the bar will be open, and the fun starts at 2pm.

Both promise to be fantastic occasions. Please make a note in your diary.

Make sure you make a note in your diary of one of the biggest dates in the club’s calendar:  the end of season dinner.

It is being held at our Hill Close clubhouse at 7.30pm on Saturday, September 24, and promises to be a tremendous evening.

There will be a more informal format than previous years. The award-winning Rajshahi Indian restaurant in Tewkesbury is laying on a mouthwatering buffet curry.

Our bar, which has been offering a range of super-value drinks promotions all summer, will be open until late.

Musical entertainment is being arranged, and there will be the usual speeches and presentation of awards.

It will be a chance to chat with friends, look back on another memorable season, and dream of possible glories next year.

All this at the most picturesque venue in Bredon!

The club’s end-of-season dinner 2016 will be on Saturday, September 24.

It will be a buffet-style event and will be held at our clubhouse in Hill Close.
