It’s back! The first game of the Bredon Hill Bash, the Twenty20 village cricket tournament that was such a huge success last year, is being played tomorrow (July 22).
Bredon will host Elmley Castle at Hill Close, with play beginning at 3pm.
There will be a typical Twenty20 party atmosphere, a barbecue and the clubhouse bar will be open.
Families are welcome to come along and enjoy some exciting cricket with the emphasis on fun.
The Bash, the brainchild of Jack Denton, landlord of the Crown Inn, Kemerton, is a round-robin tournament played through July and August and culminating in a finals day on August bank holiday Sunday at Bredon Cricket Club.
The clubs taking part are Bredon, Elmley Castle, Overbury and Ashton-under-Hill (last year’s winners), as well as a side from the Crown Inn.
